What is allowed for Usernames and Passwords
USERNAMES

We recommend that you use your Email address as a Username, because it is unique.

If you use your Email address your Username must have the format of a valid email address.
It must be at least 6 characters long, and can be no longer than 80 characters.
It must contain an '@' character that separates the user and domain values  (example: you@yourisp.com)
It must be composed of at least two sub-domains separated by a dot '.'  (example: yourisp.com).

All Usernames may contain numbers (0-9), upper and lower case letters (A-Z, a-z), hyphens (-), underscore (_) and periods (.), or the characters: !, #, $, %, /. ~.
All Usernames cannot contain any spaces, backslash (\), colon (:), semicolon (;), single quote ('), double-quote ("), comma (,), less than (<) and the greater than (>) characters, asterisks ("*"), or these characters:  &, +, =, ?, (, ), [, ], ^, `, {, |, }

If you do not use your Email address the same constraints on what can or cannot be contained apply.

PASSWORDS

Your password can only contain numbers (0-9), and/or upper/lower case letters (A-Z, a-z).
Your password must be at least 6 characters long, and can be no longer than 10 characters.
